Error Message: “Sorry, that file cannot be edited”
This message “Sorry, that file cannot be edited” is stopping me from editing my Template. Is this happening to you? I have three Blogs but only this one cannot be edited. It’s rather weird. After searching around, there seems to be no real answer. All indications seem to point at the latest update of WordPress.org, 2.9.2. Bloggers are reinstalling Plugins and trying all sorts of things but there is no real answer as of right now. They are changing codes, it’s crazy. Besides the Plugins, Bloggers are also blaming it on the Themes too. This seem to have happened in the past (2 Years ago) but here’s a fresh post.
But here, it is resolved?
What could it be??

I’m having the same problem and untill now i can’t resolve it
Don’t know what to say. Like I mentioned, I have other Blogs and i could edit but others I cannot. I think it’s a combination of the Upgrade and the plugins. And then it could be the Themes. Whatever it is, someone should get on top of it.
well, in my case a Thumbnail generator plugin is the culprit
perhaps some plugins which changes theme’s code automatically can make this error, you should check if you have kinda plugins
But there, it is resolved. You just have to upload the patched theme-editor.php and plugin-editor.php like the sage looking man said in the forum.
